#2 - "j" cut out of the background block also creates the "E"

Client
I would like to see some variations of the color and slight variations on the j and e.

Client
Please use the font that looks like the upside down V as an A. Can you give us some variations on the color blue and also make the E a little more defined than it is?

Hi. I'll try to get those edits for you during the Top 5 phase.

Thanks,

#195 - Here's one option...

Can you try a few others?

I think your logo has a lot of potential, but if you leave it as is, it is not our #1. Can you please make some variations/colors so that we can use it?

I really like #220. However, the middle stroke of the E can be adjusted in 2 ways to make it better. The middle stroke needs to have more white space at the top and bottom and also the j either needs to go in more on the top left and bottom left or the middle E stroke come out more into the the J. Right now it looks a bit short. Thanks!!!

Can you also check to make sure that the white gap between the colors orange, blue and green is uniform? Thanks.

Also please check to see that the angles of the shapes in the top left, bottom left, and top right are all the same...the one that shows the depth. I think with these three changes, this is our logo.

Can we also try on version that has the same font, but a little smaller? Maybe 33% smaller.

I'm tied up on another project at the moment, but I can submit those changes during Judging. During that phase, only the top-ranked designer can submit, so you would just need to shuffle the rankings.

Thanks,
Z

If that is the case, I guess we have our winner. Unless we see the changes, I think we are going to keep our ranking the same. Sorry about that. Best of luck on your project.

We are down to 2 competitors. We aren't considering any others. However, we need to get a few changes done before we can judge you the winner. 1) we need to see the box more like a cube...it doesn't have to be exact, because we have the 3D area to play with that tricks the mind into thinking it is more of a cube. 2) use the white lowercase j from the icon as the first letter in the "words" below (but in black)...we have to change the entire "word" to jur-ease, instead of Jur-Ease. 3) can we see the - and e connected and unconnected? 4) can we experiment with some other lower case "j"s to make the "E" look more like an "E". Right now the middle section looks like it is too fat and cut off (short). Let us know if you can do these. If you can't, we understand, but will just go ahead and select #2.

it may make sense just to use the same font as the white j for the whole "jur-ease" word so that it isn't too in your face. Maybe we can try it both ways and see.

#225 - Made some changes to the icon. Will focus on the font changes once the icon is perfected, but dropped in a lowercase version for the time being to give you some idea of what it would look like.

#226 - Middle stroke of E further adjusted.

Client
#226 has a pretty decent E. However, we wanted the E to get wider, not so much the blue or green..although it could get slightly bigger than the original. Proportionally, we want most of the increase to be in the E. Regarding the lower case, we need you to use the j font or image from the white j and duplicate it (although smaller) at the beginning of the jur-ease word. Again, we want the box to look much more like a cube, than a rectangular prism. Thanks.

OK, I'll see what I can do. I'm travelling on business tomorrow but will get to it as soon as possible.

#227 - Here's a cubed version. Let me know what you think.

Client
I think that is a little overboard on the cube. From the #1 ranked version, we just wanted to see a LITTLE more E and a little less green and blue dimension, not that extreme. It doesn't even really look like an E anymore. Also, on the font, maybe try to tone down the bold on the 'j' and then the rest can be quite a bit lighter to make the 'j' pop a little. Thanks.

Client
Can we try two things with the 'jur-ease'? 1) leave the font the same width as the #1 ranked logo and then 2) make it the same width as the entire cube? Thanks.

Logo Designer
#228 is about midway between the two in terms of width. For the font I wasn't sure if you were referring to boldness of the black or thickness.

Client
I was referring to thickness, not boldness. Can we do this instead of 1/2 way...
