One way of doing it would be use PANTONE colors, and then play with percentage to differentiate shadows. This would reduce the number to 3, but this wouldn't solve embroidery problem. Are there any particular colors that you'd like me to focus on?

This logo would be expensive to do embroidery and screen printing because of the 6 different colors. Any idea how to reduce the number of colors.
