Entry #46 looks great. If possible, I would like to see what it would look like if the orange circle was an image of the World. I included a web link below to an image. Thank you, John
Hi, thanks for the feedback. Of course it can be without the background, here is the example #56. We can easily change the color to adapt with any color background or we can simply add a white stroke around the logo so it can easily put on any background color.
Can I ask you a question? The globe / world idea, is this your own idea or you got inspired by another designers in the contest?
The world was my idea. I thought of it so visitors to the website will see that this is open to martial artists around the world and not just in the U.S. I had other ideas to add to the world such as adding a small video symbol (the Youtube play arrow) on the world under the legs of the martial artists and maybe a trophy somewhere (perhaps coming out of the top of the world. These were my first impressions because it's a worldwide competition, plus the winner gets a trophy and all of the entries will be by video. Maybe it's too much for a logo (not sure, but I value your opinion as an incredible artist.
Sorry but I have to withdraw two of my entries (currently rank 1) because designer lechi542 claim that my entry is to close to him and he take me to the logocourt. If I lose the court I will unable to submit more design to your contest, so I don't want to take the risk, I withdraw it and I'll submit some new designs to your contest.
Here is my another approach based on your feedback #68
This logo #68 looks nice. I think there is too much orange. Is it possible to see the men in white? Also, can you please return the other logos #54 & #56? It's a toss up between them and #68.
Sorry, I missed that message. That seems unfair, plus that was most likely my winning logo. I do like #68 but too much orange. Your concept was much different than his and much more vibrant.
Hi John here they are #80 and #81 with less orange in the logo. About #54 and #56, I couldn't reinstate them, if I do it he will take me to the logocourt again, instead of that I'll try another alternative for the silhouette.
I was having trouble learning how to use the site. Logo Tournament said I may have offended some of the artists so I extended the contest and increased the prize. I also offered an apology. I am also apologizing to you for prolonging the contest as your logo is awesome and ranked #1. I hope you do not leave the contest.
I didn't see any offended action from you, if what you talking about is putting some designs from any designers in "not interested" side, its a normal, every contest holder did that, It is one of many process to show your direction.
I'm the one who should apologize to you, because I've brought one of the designers to logocourt so now he banned from your contest. As you know, at first he took me to logocourt because he thought I was copying his designs, but after that he is cheating by tracing from the photos that he got on the internet, where it is a prohibited action in logotournament. So I took him to logocourt to show him that he cheating other designers here. I'm sorry for that.
Thank you, your work is awesome, I can see why they would take you to court, it must be difficult to compete against such an accomplished artist as yourself.
Would it be to much to ask to see a small video arrow on the trophy so I can see what it looks like? Maybe in yellow or red with a yellow border? (unless you have a better color combination
So far everyone I showed the logos too, picked #115 but they wanted to see different fonts or colors in the domain name. Can some experiments be done with the fonts?
