I have mentioned this that gradients, glows effects transparencies are logos worst nightmare. Solid color work best but a detail diamond will not translate well to B&W whether it is sold colors or other eye candy effects.
I've designed for several Jewelers and we always gone with minimalist design. One of my submission with the top view brilliant diamond as letter "O" will work, looks great, will print on pens with maximum visibility.
If you wish too the B&W of design #197 let me know
Hi Scott, I really like your Diamond It is very realistic.
Would this print well on a 2 color pen rendition?
We are trying to find a logo that will work well for all of our different needs.
1) shirt with stitching,
2) Pen with logo very small and 2 colors with blue background Royal blue.
3) business card with bigger diamond like on our card
4) logo for our website.
I do product development as well the diamond you see here is a 3D model that a created years ago. The diamond was rendered in a studio setting with all lightening set to blue. the 3d diamond model has the correct refraction index applied. the scene rendered then converted to a vector object.
it is an authentic representation of a Brilliant cut diamond.
Correct geometry for a Brilliant Diamond cut. No gradients, no transparencies to deal with during prints. Facets, girdle and reelections are solid color variants
All of your style are very tasteful and we like them but we are going another direction with the logo sorry. thank you for all of your efforts! they are very well done!
Hi , sorry I did not get back to you sooner, it has been crazy and I am o getting the messages very well. I do like your styles but I am liking the 1,2,3,4,5 styles better. Your designs are very nice but it is not exactly what we are lookin for. I appreciate all of your efforts. Thank you!
I understand you needs to print and in my professional opinion gradients, transparencies and glows effects will not work for print especially when printing small. this is the reason I use solid colors only. solids give a professional look and feel while eye-candy effects tend to be amateurish
I'll add some additional color to the facets see ho wit looks and fix Jewelers text
What if this was gold and white or silver and white on a royal blue background or burgundy red or emerald green colors.
with the dark blue, or colors shoing through the diamond for the extra color in the diamond.
doing this for a two color pen or shirt for logo.
hi WE LIKE A BLUE COLOR OR GOLD COLOR IN OOUR DIAMOND AND DO YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT DIAMOND DESIGN THAT IS MORE LIKE A REAL DIAMOND AND CAN YOU CHANGE THE FONT PLEASE. VERY GOOD IDEA THIS DESIGN WE JUST WOULD LIKE A FEW CHANGES. THANKS.
