Hi, here's my first entry for your consideration. I like to start with something simple and then add or make adjustments depending on your desires. I've created a wordmark, first presented in orange and blue, and then presented cut out from an organic shape like you might find in a Suess illustration. Since you want to have a Suess-like feel on your website, you may want to include illustrative elements, so I expect a simple logo that complements that style would work well. I'll keep working and thinking about how to add a bit more Suess-like charm to the whimsical lettering and arrangement I've created here. I'd love to have your feedback -- it's so important to getting a logo that's perfect for you! Many thanks!
Lindsey: I'm really a big fan of #1 and #2 & #3! I really like how you're trying to incorporate the Dr. Seuss feel we're looking for, and you're right, our initial design sketches are heavy on the background illustrations and whimsical interpretations of business processes. I especially like how you've placed "Media" in the logos. Thank you - we're off to a great start and you've set a high bar for anyone else who chips in. Don
Hi! I got to thinking about the way buildings are drawn in Suess books, and thought I'd create a new wordmark that emulates that style. If you like this style but prefer the first wordmark I created, I'd be happy to apply this style to that one. I just thought I'd try this with an alternative. I'll also upload a plain version of this, without the dimension added. What a fun contest! Thanks so much.
I like the "crispness" of #7, as well as the tufts of grass (?) at the bottom. Interestingly, all of the women we've asked loved #20 with the eye coming out of the G. If I had to pick right now, it would be some variation of #7, maybe include the eye from #20 with the de-emphasized "media" and colors of #1. Hope that helps!
Lindsey - thank you so much for making the changes. Part of me wishes I'd left it all alone, but my gosh we had so many great entries - this was tough! I wish I could give you something substantial, but in the end it came down to the team's collective vote. We loved your work though!
