My server was down yesterday, so my comment is a little late, sorry. First, I want to thank you for your effort.
I love the elegance of what you created, and you hit the nail on the head when I asked for subtle, elegant and simple.

I've had a chance to look at these more carefully, and wanted to re-rank them this morning, but the system doesn't let me.

#22 is wonderful, but I think the little houses get in the way of the lettering. If I were able to re-rank, I like
#18 and #21 best. I will be using this logo on cards and signs, as well as stationery. So I will need to
position contact information. Not sure where or how to do that so that it doesn't look busy.

On #21, could you add "Residential and Commercial Real Estate"....

I have always liked black or silver business cards. Could you show me something that might use the
logo with a black background, maybe white and red lettering, just as a comparison? I know a white
business card is quite elegant, so if I use your logo that way, maybe I'd just make it larger so it's
not lost on the page....

Any comments are very welcome. I'm great at my job, but have little "design" talent :-))

Thank you so much for your work in playing with the black and silver backgrounds. It was a big help in visualizing how a sign or a card would look. . As you can see, I've re-ranked to include your changes. You
understood exactlly what I was looking for,. The blue version with silver was absolutely dazzling. However, as I thought about its application, I think the black/red has more impact. Not sure. This is a very hard process because everyone's submissions have been excellent...but rankings are as I've posted them tonight, and thanks again!

Maybe you can use different versions of colors for different medias, like web, blog, etc..
Because the Logo is the same so you can branding with different color schemes. Just my thoughts.

As you can see we are almost thru this contest, and I still like your ideas best.
I agree that I will want to change colors now and then, and also I will have to
add address, phone, contact info at some point too. I'm not sure how to do that.

I think with the submission I ranked #1, I would like the option of silver, or a close grey in
case printers cannot duplicate. But perhaps I can clarify this when the contest concludes.

I am very surprised that so many people have jumped in at the end, with blatant copies of other
peoples' ideas...kind of a turnoff. I've ranked everyone because the instructions say that
the artists don't like to be put in the "non-interesting" category....

Here is really hard to win a Contest, because a lot fo designers in the last 24 hours of the Contest come with a blatant copies of the first rank, like you saw (i am happy you saw).
But here we have a Logo Court if we need, there, all the community vote to eleminate some copycats. Sometimes do not work great. But sometimes is a tool for us to defend our work. Really sad.
Some people make this things for money. Very sad.

You can place this people in NOT interested column.
You only need to rank 3 different designers in top3 and rank system points until 10 rank. You can repeat designers since 4 rank to 10 if you want.
After the 10 rank do not count any points for the system.
