Very much enjoy the font, love the tiny plane. You have a sci-fi look that is strong. Like the direction the path is pointing.
Based on your font, the ratio between the symbol and the text is a little big. However, the symbol's finer details get lost quickly as the symbol shrinks in size including the plane and the very thin swishes.
I do like the "surprise" of seeing the plane if one looks closely. A lot.
Let's try stretching the text slightly taller. I think JET and FINANCIAL should be "different" somehow, based on your font Close the gap between JET and FINANCIAL very slightly. Grab a taller, thinner font for the slogan if you can, and darken. This will allow for larger looking text Evolve your symbol slightly. I think your approach is a strong entry and I'd like you to rank up
Let's go down another path after that . I like the thickness of the font. I believe we can have a logo with no symbol, Where the bottom parts of the text are behind the very tops of clouds if you get my meaning, with a thin, white straight line cutting through the tops of all the text, ending with an extremely tiny plane inside the "L" whitespace. This, in theory will make the logo seem incredibly large.
1)The ball with swooshes reminds me too much of Citizens Bank older logo with red ball and swooshes. Let's modify. Perhaps it is no longer a circle. Perhaps the swooshes are doing something else instead of that.
2)The height of the text is correct on the clouds one, but a little too tall on the one with the symbol.
3)The gradients on both are a bit too strong. Dial down opacity a bit. Very subtle, only upon inspection is gradient found.
