Entry #1 and #2. Thank you for your fast work! Colors are good, but maybe gradated with yellow like the film reel in #2. Don't really like the typefaces in either design because it looks out of date and not progressive or high tech enough. I'm not a big fan of icons like the film reel and play button. Any extra elements other than the words should be abstract.
Hi Mambo. Thanks for your new entries. I like the director's chair, megaphone and film reel. Let's leave those elements in but can you add arms to the director's chair? I am still not crazy about the typefaces used. They still seem out of date. Need typefaces that are more progressive, modern, hi-tech, artsy, rough. The colors are still good. Also... i'd like to have the words, "directing, shooting, post production" in the logo treatment.
Mambo, I still like the director's chair, film reel, and megaphone image! Can you change the typeface of JENSENPRODUCTIONS to a bold type all together on one line? I've been getting feedback about "Jensen" being hard to read. Utilize orange and lime green for that. At the bottom, Shooting, Directing, Post-production. Also... maybe add a stylized "J" to the left of the logo. Add Shooting, Directing Post-Production on the second line under JENSENPRODUCTIONS. Thanks!
Thanks Mambo! Great work. Entry #39 is definitely my favorite. I guess it's not necessary to have the "J" to the left. The typeface for "Jensen" is ok but the typeface for PRODUCTIONS is too thin. Very hard to read over white. Maybe just use a bolder typeface....and if necessary darken the lime green just a little. I still love the director's chair image! Love the grey line under JENSENPRODUCTIONS! Please add "Directing, Shooting, Post-Production" underneath the grey line.
Thanks Mambo! Look great. The bolder type for the word PRODUCTIONS is perfect. I love the line underneath JENSENPRODUCTIONS. Would you please use a new typeface for the "DIRECTING, SHOOTING, POST-PRODUCTION. Something more blocky and bold like Arial Black or something.
Mambo. Your design is definitely one of my favorites but I'm wondering if you could add a couple of elements for me. As I'm trying to be mindful of how I can introduce motion to the logo I was thinking about having a "stickman" type figure walk in and pick up the megaphone, sit down in the director's chair, raise the megaphone to his mouth and then you would see the JENSENPRODUCTIONS come out of the megaphone. Could you add a stickman? Also... I think I'd like to see a camera with a tripod maybe behind the chair. The look of the new stickman and camera should match the same look of the chair... the hand-drawn look... artsy... almost abstract. The camera should be a film camera and not a video camera. As far as colors go..... I think the green needs to be a bit darker yet. Eliminate the gradated orange and change to a solid orange. I still like the line underneath JENSENPRODUCTIONS. Thanks!!
Hi Mambo. Thanks! Looks great. I think this will work. A couple of things.... Can you revised the camera to look like it has two film reels instead of one? I may try to spin those. Also, I will need each element in a separate layer so I can animate each peice if I want. For the stickman I'll need the head, legs, arms. body as separate layers. For the camera, I'll need each reel, the camera, and the tripod as separate layers. The chair will need to be a separate layer. The megaphone will need to be a separate layer. JENSENPRODUCTIONS will need to be a separate layer as well as the line underneath. Directing, Shooting, Post-Production will need to be a separate layer. Let's make the stickman a little taller too.
Entry #82 is great Mambo! It's my favorite so far! Can you please move the film reels over to this side of the camera. I want to see the whole reels. Also... make the camera body a little shorter horizontally. Thank you!
Also.... Can you show me a version without the stickman? I may want to use the stickman only for the animated version. Just place the megaphone on the chair. Also... I want to experiment with the color for the word PRODUCTIONS. Please make the word PRODUCTIONS blue. Medium blue. Not too dark, not too light.
