#1 Hey I like this, great first effort!!!!! Could you show it to me in an oval and I find it a little hard to read and can we make it a little more elegant? Tthrilling to c this first effort!
#2 Love the font, the lines, the simlpicity. Can we try a capital J, cause it reads cupcakiery...and want to convey restaurant...great design...lets keep going...
Thanks for the new options. Can you take out the word coffee on all of them. Regarding #20: Almost like the body font but don't care for the "J". Can you work on a new Capital "J". Like the cursive but is a bit "too perfect". If you can find something between #1 and #20 you'll be going in the right direction. Want it to read elegant, but it needs to be legible. Regarding #21 Like this one as well but would like to see the top of the "J" with a complete line on top. Also would like to see other "J" options for this one. Regarding #4 This has potential, like the clean, simple look. Can you make it more substantsial with a boarder or pictorial. Looks unfinished. Like the legability but don't care for the "J". Regarding #22 could you add a border. Overall, we like all your submissions, but are looking for something more than just type treatment. Feel free to introduce a food icon or symbol, boarders and anything else to make it more visual and complex. Keep going. So excited to see the next round!!
in regards to entry #1, perhaps try experimenting with a reversal in color, such as a cream color for the background (i do like the maroon trim around the outside though) and a darker choice of color for the text? ideally we would prefer a more legible font (the two n's in the center are a little tough to read at a quick glance)
First of all, love your work! Thank you for all the submissions. Hard to pick a favorite. On #49, 50, 51 can you flip the Santa Barbara Montecito with the words restaurant and bakery. On #49 is there a way to center all the type, it feels a bit titled and off center. Would like to have the lettering more upright and vertical and lastly that darn "J" is still not very legible. On 50 & 51 can you give a little space to the right and left of the lettering, it feels cramped. Thank you very much.
Hi! Thank you so much for the compliment! I made the requested changes for #49, #50, and #51. I also gave additional options on fonts and to help with the centered text for Santa Barbara Montecito and Restaurant and Bakery. The bullet point in the middle of those words was making it look off center, so I removed it to see if that helped you a bit. Thanks!
