example #1 - this is appealing - I like the distant horizon effect under the initials.

Entry #2 - A bit too formal / heraldic for me

It could look good if you apply the design of entry #6 to the font and colours of entry #1

# 116 looks really good - the shading draws your eye up over the "horizon."

#116 - can you try the gradient in the font above the curve to be progressive vice the step change you have at the moment ?

With #116 can you leave the lower part of the JBCS unchanged and only modify the upper blue part above the curved line. I would like to see the blue part shaded from dark at the lower edge to lighter at the top. In other words #116 looks like the curve is throwing a shadow on the blue part of the letters. Instead I would like to see a gradual change from dark to light going up ( mirrors the change in shading in the gray part of JBCS)
