Hi, I have used an abstract icon brings in mind something sweet and organic and used a heart at its core to connect it with the "Darlin's" part of the name. Added some grunge to make it feel old.
I'll try some stuff. You can write here below at the post comment field, for to talk private withe the designers. It is easier than to pm. You can use also this symbol # and the number of the design you want to reference to. i.e. #9
Thank you for your designs! We're leaning towards a few, as you can see in our rankings. If you could all submit some more original designs with "antique/Victorian" fonts and designs such as the Fontleroy Brown and Riesling fonts on the following website:
We're really trying to convey an old fashioned/whimsical yet sophisticated feel to our logo. A lot of the modern designs were ranked lower as we are intrigued by the old fashioned yet clean sophistication of designs. We want the font to look like hand calligraphy.
Sure I will try to find a similar like #26 font. And no, you don't bother me at all, at the end it should be a design that you gonna feel happy about. So don't hesitate to give me feedback on changes. :)
degkon, in #49 and #48 would you mind incorporating a signature swirl? The font style turned out great. Also if you wouldn't mind including what we do in the logo...such as cupcakes, breads, and sweets. Thank you!
Degkon, sorry to bother you again...can you submit a few other variations of #66 so the J and D are separated and easier to read? We love the overall design and detail...we're just afraid that people may have trouble reading it at first glance. Also, can you submit one with slightly smaller font as well?
Because now things with the #66 are getting bit complicated [lots of lines, handcrafted and time consuming design elements] I have to ask, can you define the "slightly smaller font", do you mean lowercase, or something else? Consider also that It depends of the font for something like this to work.
Thank you so much for your additions. You were right the lowercase i you can see a little better. With the uppercase you almost think it is a "t". Is there any way that we can do the lower line on the "I" and entwine it to the N? or maybe just a straight I? Also we like the clarity of seeing the J and D easily, but the J stands alone a little. Is there any way you can lower the J to the smallest bit of calligraphy? Like add the J to the bottom hook of the A and the top hook of the D, not the letter but the swirly loop? Thank you so much!
