I think the color break up within the logotype helped push that across... I've already tried it "connected" via the transparency in #34... I'll see what else I can do ;)
#145 not sure if this will work but can you rotate the mark so that the blue outline is shaped like a j? also can you darken the weight of the APPS? i'm curious how this would look....or maybe just change the color..
Sorry, I have to pull #145 due to politics on this site... there is another designer that believes it is too close to his entry... I'm not going to "logo court" over it...
another option similar in feel to my original entry... the concept is playing off app style icons, stepping smaller (as was the case in my original concept as well)...
as requested, I think the other option (#183, #184) has more character & visual appeal though as the lines aren't as straight around the corners but taper in and straighten out as it goes inward...
its clean, modern, and conceptually relative yet a bit abstract... breaks down to one color well & will read/scale well down to small sizes which is a must if you want to be taken seriously in 2010 as a current brand...
#185, can you do this with different colors in the mark, a little less rainbow then the others though,i love the typography, just curious about the colors
