#6 is certainly on the right track! Love the concept and muted color scheme. The cabinet looks like it could be confused for a wood-burning stove, so I would prefer something that is more obviously a piece of furniture. For example, a roll-top desk would really capture the type of furniture I do. Something between high-end and country coastal. Likewise, I love the hand-written type effect for "Tracy K. Woods" -- I actually like the TKW typeface better in #5! Also, I would prefer to include the "by" with the signature if possible. One last item: I think the arc treatment makes the "It's Not Done..." difficult to read. But overall, this one's my favorite!
Hi Peg, #15 is really on the mark! I'm aware that less is more in a design like this (esp. with such a long company name!), but I wonder if you could make it more obvious that my services focus mostly on painting/distressing/faux finishing the wood on furniture and accessories. I absolutely love the roll-top desk--great choice of furniture; I just want people to make the connection that I am making that desk look great with my painting and finishing expertise. Does that make sense?
Hi Peg, #37 is just about there! Just a few notes: I would like to see the colors muted down a bit, as I don't want to convey a dainty, "Holly Hobby" feel (i.e. the pink color in particular misrepresents my personality and work). I'm looking for a more serious and mature color scheme. Same goes for the "Tracy K. Woods" signature; would love this to be more stately and mature (and definitely not pink). Great job!!
