In both designs I've made the horizontal part of the e rounded slightly, concave upward

In #84 I've used a light aqua instead of light blue, made the eyelashes more pointy and also left a small space between the ee's.

How about this logo with two larger eyes peering over the top. No nose mouth. Maybe ⅔ of the eye shows and the rest is behind the letters

Might want to refine the eyes. Not sure how? Maybe they should be above the "E's". With these eyes you can't tell the "E's" are actually "E's"
