I like the simplicity of this and would like to see some variations. Specifically, can you make it round and with the word 'IronFire' together (it is one word). Also, please pay attention to balance/centering. The graphic on this draft is off-center.

I've been thinking that if you will imprint this logo on the leather products you don't need a background just the outline as the background will be the leather itself

Excellent first draft! The only changes we need to address are that the horns are outside the main part of the logo. All images need to be inside the main boundary because this logo will ultimately be etched on a leather patch and sewn to a hat. Also, the star should be a 'texas star', and the background would ideally have some texture as if it was made of leather.
