32 and 33 Still think the font and the color need work. Let's work on 1 variable first - can we see it with alternating panes of blue and gold? I think those colors convey 'premium', 'quality' etc. Then we can work with the font to suggest innovation and creativity.
35 The colors still need adjustment. We like the gold in #43. And the blue should be darker. More like a blue ribbon blue. On another note, we like the gradient effect in #43. Is there a way to do something like that? It doesn't need to be the same - but we think something like that gives it some style/flair and a premium look. Lastly, can you make the person a little smaller? It might make our ads look more large-scale, which might be nice to convey.
We just went to look at other logos and regarding the gradient - and saw another effect that looked nice. If you click on the 'designers' tab, then select the first place 'wolv'. Look at his designs. In the 6th row, 3rd column, there's a circular, red logo for 'david dorian ross'. We like the highlight shadow effect. Obviously, your design isn't a button, but it shows some possibilities playing with light and shadow.
#47 The shading is giving it a funhouse mirror look because of all the different lines. What if it were one long curve? Also the gold isn't quite right. It needs a richer gold color. It looks pewter/copper.
ah. I do like the smooth wave, but just to let you know my thinking, I saw it as reflecting the buildings across the street. but the smooth wave makes for better visibility. I'm hoping this is the blue in your vision and once we get the gold, I am looking forward to tackling the font. I really appreciate your feedback, that's what makes this process work. Thank you.
#80 The gold is better, thanks. As far as the swoosh goes, it's still not what we're envisioning. We looked around, and to give you a better idea, take a look at the winning logo for 'Milk Media' by chriss.fr. It's a red 'M'. There's a sense of richness to the red area using the highlights and shadows. That's along the lines of what we had in mind.
Click on 'portfolio', then select 'media' in the search field at the top, right. The design for Milk Media should be on the first page.
The other thing we were thinking is to use the font to create the storefront effect instead of the alternating fields of color. Essentially, use an interesting blocky font to stack the words 'INWINDOW' on top of 'OUTDOOR' to create a rectangular shape (and possibly put thin white lines through it). Does that make sense?
We like the font of the Bronze medal winner for the 'Brooklyn Interactive' logo. Go to 'portfolio', select 'media' in the search field. You'll see the Gold medal winner for 'Brooklyn Interactive' on the first page or so. Click on the link on the bottom, right. It should take you to that contest. (Sorry that we can't find an easier way to tell you how to see these.)
#89 Definitely fun, but not the font we're thinking about. Were you able to find the font for the Brooklyn Interactive logo we mentioned above? Also, feel free to make Inwindow all caps and/or outdoor much smaller. BTW, thanks for your patience!
