International Pet GroupLogo Design Contest

Hi,

I like the direction but have a couple of thoughts.

1. Can you read the word "international" when it is on a business card.
2. Is the tail in the "E" clear enough? Can you try other dog images in a letter.

Here it is with the tail re-drawn and a paw print within the O :) Also made "INTERNATIONAL" larger so it can be seen clearly at small sizes

We wanted to perhaps change the tail to something else or make it a little different. We are not fans of the paw. We would only want one letter with a dog centric item:

Collar
Leash
Bone
Tag
Tail
Dog Head

Hi, here are a few variations, a bone tag hanging from the center of the e, making up the whitespace of the bottom of the e, a collar as the e, with the bone tag hanging from the collar, and the revised dog tail minus the paw print :)

I do like the "International" on the top better. The letter "e" just is not working for me. It needs to be clean and legible. Try leaving the "e" alone and perhaps a use the "O" in group. You can also try to hang a tag from the O with IPG...don't stop now :)

Thanks for your response. I like the direction but we have one issue. This logo will be on a business card and I think when we shrink your logos down to that size the detail in the letter will not be legible. I like the direction but we need to be able to read the details when smaller. Ideas??

Hi David, although it doesnt look like it, the IPG letter combination within the dog tag O is the same size as the letters in "INTERNATIONAL", so they should be perfectly legible on business cards

Here it is with a slightly thicker "IPG" and no interweaving between the letters :) the text is still the same size as "INTERNATIONAL" so there shouldnt be any problems with legibility.

A couple of thoughts:

I just don't like the IPG in the tag, the letters are too close. Can you try it with just a tag or something else.

Not a fan of the Collar to the left with IPG in it.

Can you try to make the collar with the bone angled a bit over, not close to the "R"

I have to grab some dinner, I'll have something up as soon as I'm done. I'm thinking maybe the bone in the tag. I'll also make the changes to the collar with the bone tag too :)
