Hello Tymorg, here are two concepts two concepts for you. Halo and feather. Both can be rendered in different ways but the underlying concepts are there. The feather perhaps needs to look a bit 'lighter' and laying on the floor as though its been shed. If you're interested I can continue to refine both of them.

Kind regards

once again these are just concepts that can be developed.

Hi Dasx
thanks for your input, and designs. There is a product called "Green and Blacks" chocolate that has a logo similar to a leaf or feather, so we will avoid that one.
We definitely like the concept of the halo. Lets see where you can go with that.

All the best

hi Dasx

Entry #17. Cool, but too complex. Looking for a single unified image. Keep in mind the original goal:

The logo should be well suited to most any color scheme, or black and white.
It will be used as a mold design ( ie-- it will be on the chocolate itself) so it cannot be more than one symbol.

Entry 7/ Still your leader. Perhaps some angles on the halo, some form of interpretation of it

Entry 10: like the balloon. Simple, invokes common thoughts.

Maybe a hybrid of the two images??

many thanks for our efforts--

Notes: If you Google "symbols of innocence" you will find peace doves ( cannot use these), lambs, and many abstract images such as the ancient spiral.
You can also Google the same query with a lead in of things like.... Greek, Roman, French, Asian, etc.

Also,, keep the idea of the cocoa bean in mind, there may be something to work with...such as a halo over a cocoa bean?? hmmmm.... interesting

Thanks again--

#18.. the devils tail! Nice, I like the irony.

Perhaps work with this ( its really great btw) , the halo, and the cocoa bean.

I know that is getting complicate, but lets see where it goes.....

I just realized other submissions were using the cocoa bean-- but that is obvious and 'fair game' as the rules point out. I will support this

Hello TY, sorry I'm just getting to your comments. Understood about the complexity. I just need to know if I'm playing in the right sandbox. Trying to balance the goodness and guilt idea.

its still early in the contest so its a good time to try things to see which imagery is saying what we want. The last one is playing with a tail.

Will try to work towards am more solid icon.

Noticed this bean with halo, so I decided not to go there.

Damn, I did not see that one. Thanks

Its ironic because I was about to nod off, and had a thought of the halo, and the devils tail. The tail on a cocoa bean, with the halo over it.

Might be too close to the one you found, but I would like to take a look at the concept how you think it could be done. Will share with the legal guys and get feedback.

Actually--- that is a coffee bean. Unrelated industry. Quick legal feedback said we are ok. Lets have a go at it.

Thanks

Love the evolution, thank you.

1)We are really taking a liking to the devils tail "i".

2) The concept of the cocoa bean with a tail and halo is still of interest ( even though we know it may be too complex/busy)

3) The devils tail with a halo ( no bean) is something we would also like to see,

Hi, I'm back on the case today. I will be a bit sporadic with updates so don't get to dishartened if you don't see anything for a couple of hours. I have to run around a bit today.

The tail is growing on me too :).

I should have some stuff shortly.

Hi again, I think #42 is getting to something juicy :). Had a hard time not making it look like sperm.

I really like this but I want to work it out. Need to buy some chocolate to I can get a sense of the kind of tolerances it has in terms of thickness of lines so things don't blob up.

The idea is that tail is like a a growth from the bean. Sinfully good and healthy :).

Let me know what you think.

cheers

Greetings Dave
really shaping up now--- (-: The tail and halo are quite clean, and could be well suited to a mold.

1 )The bean with the tail is very interesting... it seems a little busy, but likely because the visible separation of the tail and the bean. Maybe a way to incorporate #41 and 41? Sort of the bean ( a bit smaller) nestled into the curl of the tail. Not sure.. might not look right, but a thought.

2)We went ahead and move the plain halo out. Other submissions have tried to jump in with it but we wont accept.

Great stuff!

HI Dave;
really coming to life here.

#51. The flames are nice-- simple and telling. This is a clean, sharp logo. The thoughts re that the flames are not as descriptive/telling as the devils tail or fork. We are kicking it around now.

#46.. . the slight angle with the devils fork is nice. We even thought about turning the fork over so the prongs are at the top.
Maybe the center prong ( of the 3) is a little shorter, and there is a dot over it for the i. Could go either way-with or without the dot.

Stil love the tail and halo combo . Keeping them all in mind

On the new entry by Jibq: We like the concept with the gender symbols, but we will disallow it on the halo concept. We are letting them know

Cheers

Hahaha... def cute. Not sure if most people would get it. Still, its going to the group for review and I will be back with you in a few hours.

The apple -- innocence-- yep.. seeing how that can fit

Keeping the halo/tail combo, still love it.

Hi Dave
pretty close now. Is it possible for you to submit revisions? What has come to us is this:

The halo as you have it on # 91, then the flames on #61. The full halo with the tilt is the most appealing.

That would be the 'parent' logo.

Then, for other versions of the product we will create a different image under the halo. Such as an apple ( if it were apple flavored) or maybe a cow for milk chocolate.. you get it... (-:

Thanks very much, great work!

HI Dave;
We are not sure about the font, but wanted to ask if you will work with us on revisions after the contest. Just font and updates (such as other images below the halo), and we will pay for your time for work unrelated to the primary logo.

Thanks for your commitment and diligence

Absolutely, I would be happy to explore some type solutions for you after the contest. I am certainly interested in helping develop imagery as well.

I look froward to it. :)
