After reviewing your requests, as well as your city's official site, here is the logo I came up with. I wanted something that would match the existing color and layout, so that the two would be synonymous with one another as "official sources" on the city. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I like where you're going and really like the building landscape, but I think this feels too official. Our website will be community driven for the city, but not officially endorsed by the city.

In regards to the design, I think think it's a little too classy. I don't really like the gold colors. Navy is good and again, I like the skyline/streetscape.

Thanks for the feedback; much appreciated. See if this design is more appropriate, in terms of being community and fun based. I will see what other color options I can come up with as well. Thanks again!

Here is a more linear layout, which may be more website friendly--espceially for a banner at the top of the site.

Here is another layout option, with the slogan included... Both the residential area, the signature tower and the business side of town are still included!
