Thank you :)
I wanted to show you its horizontal version as well because sometimes, on websites for example, you want logo to have more width than height.
Thank you :)
Have you ever visited Greece?
My country is a popular summer destination for many tourists.
Of course I know that the distance between us is very big but many Americans choose Greece due to its ancient history and beautiful islands.
Unfortunately I haven't managed to visit the States until now but I wish someday I'll be able to make this over atlantic trip!
Regarding my new drafts #22, #23.
I've made the modification that you mentioned and also tried to smooth the ends of the ribbons by adding a soft curve, which looks nice.
If you want you can send me the link of the samples that you like, since we can’t exchange our personal info until the end of the contest.
Sleep tight Pink! For tomorrow I actually really like both versions….now what sort of sticks out is the heaviness of the ribbon emblem, I almost wish that the ribbon had more feminine ribbon type movement and wasn't so hard. In your design talent are you able to create that movement that I am talking about? Is there a way I can send you a photo of what I'm talking about (e-mail etc)? My other thought to "lighten" the emblem would be to remove the end tab of ribbon on the upper right and the one on the lower left. I don't think we need to see those ribbon ends, and I think it will be helpful in breaking up some of the gold. Also, I love the cd version with the deep yellows and golds (#14), is it possible to make those darker "stitch" looking lines white (like you did in the more flat version)? Just curious to see if by changing those thin lines to white, and cutting off those two ribbon tabs…that might lighten it the perfect amount. Thanks and chat with you tomorrow!
Please check #14, #15 versions.
I don't know if you prefer gradients that give a 3D look or flat colors that's why I submitted two versions.
Shortly I'll shut down my mac because it's late in the evening here in Greece.
Please leave me your comments and I'll make the adjustments you want tomorrow morning.
Thanks….because I think the version of the ribbons that you did that's currently in 3rd place is great (overlapping wise)….in fact like I said if the other ribbon was gold too, and if the other ribbon had that heart shape like the pink one it would be great!
This is definitely a contender! I like how the bunny looks like she's holding the ribbon : ). Lets leave this one just as it is and see if you can alter the other version that we're going back and fourth about. Thanks Pink!
I just saw your new gold ribbons where you told me about the problem with the breaks (totally get)….but can you basically do something just like this one, however making both gold as you have in the new design, and having both contain the hearts in the loop just like the new ones?
#13 is a new attempt.
The problem with ribbon's ends is that when they overlap each other they don't look very nice and the continuity infinity symbol has, breaks, if that makes any sense...
Hey Pink….see my comment about using the bunny in your other design. The bunny would need to face into the design so if that means you have to put her on the other side that is fine too…but read my other notes for clarification.
I added a note to your other design because I didn't want you to think that I want you to add the bunny in with this design….for this design I'd love to just see the above notes taken into consideration. I hope that you don't think I'm writing too much…it's just that I want this to be perfect and honestly I feel like you're doing an awesome job.
P.S. Pink….this is the design where I'd see the bunny (of course you would lose the little face that is currently there)….maybe it's small standing above the "in" part of the word "Infinite" or even above the "nf" of that same word. The bunny would be facing that emblem that you've created, and perhaps she's holding the bottom end of the gold ribbon there (obviously the ribbon would be a lot thinner in her hand and lead up to the width of the actual ribbon you have here. This could be really cute.
FYI, I love that the "Loops" of the ribbon are heart shaped so don't lose that….but on your original design I love how the ribbons have those ribbon kind of ends so that you can see that they're ribbons…and I love that the two ribbons overlap in the original so you can "feel" that it's the infinite symbol…plus the overlapping looks really nice.
This is definitely my favorite so far! Is there anyway to make the gold ribbons look more ribbon like…so softer (these look a little too hard/steel like if that makes sense). Also, can the ribbons and the organization name be a little closer together?
Yes I've downloaded the bunny image and if you wish I can try incorporate it in one of my designs. Since it isn't a vector file I have to redraw it so it will take me some time.
In the meanwhile please check #7 versions with two golden heart shaped ribbons.
Quick question for you…I uploaded an image of a bunny wearing a tutu…were you able to see that in the description for this contest? Just curious because no one has played with that just yet and was thinking that maybe it didn't upload correctly.
The only reason I'm not liking these versions are because the heart/ribbon looks like it's hair for the face. But I do love having the heart pink with the ribbon gold and I do love the word love in pink…font is nice too. Is there a way to lose the face and incorporate a small silloette of a child somewhere next to the ribbon or perhaps the child could be holding one of those sticks that has a ribbon on the end and the ribbon is what forms the gold one in the center??
I actually really like this one, but I wouldn't want the other ribbon to be pink because that tells people that it's for breast cancer…so the ribbons would need to be gold, but I love the idea of having both ribbons be a heart shape like you have, and I like them connecting to form the Infinity symbol! Maybe somehow there can be pink added to the wording??
