We like your logo's very much! You must have been reading our minds. We were just talking about the first one, that we ranked and were wondering what it would look like in a circle (another very respected Native symbol)? :) We love the "peoples" in it and reaching for the star-brilliant.

Walt was mentioning that while we really like the clean-university, wellness nature of the logo, at first glance the logo looked like a sinister face from a distance (I did not see this, but he did), like the transformer movie :) and wondered if we could add in an element to break up the face look but not crowd what you have. In addition to the circle, the number four is a auspicious number to Native Americans, 4 season, 4 cycles of life, 4 major colors, 4 directions. So how could we add, 1 more "thing" to break up the face look, but not over crowd the logo/shield itself and have a strong number 4? Hummmmmm

Thank you again, your work it wonderful! We do appreciate your time and creative energy.

We do like the gold color very much. But for me, personally love the simple clean black, grey and white! Four colors commonly used are yellow, black, blue and red in Native American culture. We would however not want to see all four, we are thinking two colors at the very most. That said, the other logo ranked in the gold and reddish color Walt liked a lot too as it does represent the yellow and red color in the big four.

Walt is in travel on his way to AZ to deliver training. I will be discussing this more tomorrow as time permits.

Thank you

uta, (I posted this earlier in the week, but think it posted to an area you may not be looking at? I have extended the judging so you and I can talk about below-)

Winning!

Walt has made a decision and has actually chosen elements from two of your designs, #46 and 48-and he was hoping to combine them, not sure how this will work but here it goes.

1-we want to use the inside of logo #46. Sun rays, people and star
2-we want it popped into the center of logo #48.
3-we want 12 circles in stead of 10 on logo #48 (representing the 12 month cycle of the year)
3-we like the text on logo #46 as opposed to any of the others

Questions:
1-What about removing the large circle at the bottom of logo #48?
2-Walt is concerned what we want to do will make the logo too busy? How do you feel.
3-How does it work once we choose and do you care which one we actually choose? How does that work?
4-colors: we are not sure if the colors in #46 would look good in #48? We would like you opinion. We like both colors, I like the gold, Walt is indifferent, but the elements in #48 I think may not look as good in gold?

We will want-
1- the logo as stand alone
2-logo with text to the side
3-logo with text to the bottom
4-With text to stand alone

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon
