#6-Walt likes the simplicity, clean, crisp look of the logo a lot, likes the moon and the circular reference is very native without the overused icons such as the dream catchers, feathers ect and the animal guide is good. Does not like the font and would like to see the wolf image refined a bit, he feels the head and ears looks "bat-manish", he likes the swoosh of the wolf tail. Another concern is how this would reproduce on a mug or T-shirt in its current layout? It is OK to loose the tag line too

#5-Like the colors, logo too Mayan but really liked the clean, crisp look

Thank you!

happy to work on this later... I was looking into different native symbols ... there is also the bear claw that was thinking of trying...
thanks for the feedback... busy day at real work - where we print on mugs shirts and other items - yes these designs will work in that medium... you need to specify a version without gradients for best results.

#5-Walt liked this one a lot, wondering if it could me made more simple? Less busy? Just a thought.

The wolf looks MUCH better!
I'll pass on the new logos to Walt.

One thing I thought I would impart as an FYI. There are over 500 tribes in Indian Country, the Fishermen of the North West, Hunters of the North Plaines, Gatherers from the Eastern Seaboard and Pueblos of the Southwest, they all have their own cultures, imagery and icons. Our issue, not so much a problem, but something we are very sensitive too, is that we instruct all over Indian Country. Our look and feel of our company needs to appeal to all of the tribes and should not have the strong imagery of just one. The Zia reference on the last logo you created is very nice, as we are headquartered in New Mexico and the Zia is a very sacred symbol, but looks too much like the flag of New Mexico. The bear symbolism is great, as the owner is Blackfeet and the bear is a very sacred animal spirit to them. I think if we were to use these imagery it would need to be contemporary and artistic as to sugest the icon but not be strong in its presence.
Your work is tops and we really do appreciate your time and creativity in honor Indian Country!
Have a blessed day!

thank you for the feedback... we love Native culture and go to the Indian Market in Santa Fe often... BUT sadly I do not know a lot about the different important symbols to each region... if there was one symbol that was somewhat universal then maybe I could do a modern interpretation of that...
Thought of the eagle but another designer introduced that already ... please educate me a bit more on this.

Most of my references come from our visits to NM so probably biased although there is wide representation at the August market.
