To cut through the barrage of software brands I'd like to focus on the "i" and incline it slightly to make it appear to be standing up off the page or screen. Bright strong colours bring the whole design together.
I have used just the "i" so that if your business expands or changes from 'software' the logo can be used. If the "s" is incorporated it could limit the use of the logo for other areas or departments. The letter I has a human element to it - so the logo has a friendly look to it.
