Entry #5- I like this design a lot. To me it conveys community caring/you are in good hands, and the cannabis and medicine element are well represented. I am still concerned about a community perception issue with such a large cannabis leaf that is such an big and not optional part of the logo design. On the other hand, it's tasteful and really stands out and conveys the 'feel' of what I want and what we do. Two ideas- maybe swap the cross and the leaf in the design, making it a small purple cannabis leaf where the cross is and a large green cross where the leaf is to minimize impact of 'leaf stigma'? Or, maybe putting a purple/green yin/yang behind the original design that basically is size of the leaf so the leaf overlays it, the yin/yang is resting in the hands and then maybe as an alternate choice we can sometimes (like on external signage) leave the leaf off when appropriate but not lose the totality of the idea we are conveying. Just some thoughts- good design!!

#43, upon further reflection, felt a tad bit 'churchy' with the hands and the large cross, and I liked #44 but a little too much going on in the green shades. Still very much like your work though!

Maybe if the cross had a circle around it it would feel more medical than religious...?
