Hi here are my initial entries for your consideration. I've started by using only the word "ICON" because I think that "diamonds" is implied by the imagery. I'm happy to add, tweak, revise, etc.

I've focused on using diamond shapes in an icon style to match the company name. In #4, I played with the idea that if the O contains an E or maybe even looks like one, it would imply the word "ICE" - slang for diamonds. It was just a crazy idea.

I'd love to have your feedback. Thanks!

#9, not a literal diamond, but an implied round cut from the top - with clock hands...

#4 I like the concept of ICE that you were going for, but i see a timepiece in the "O" which is still cool

Hi! Thanks for the feedback (we thrive on it). I will continue working to see what else I can come up with. If you have any tweaks you would like to see (color, font, positioning, etc.), please let me know.

In the mean time, here's a great article by David Airey on what makes a good logo. It should provide you with some valuable insight and advice as your contest progresses:

Hi icon, just a reminder that any design you're interested in, you should ask for in black and white to make sure it works in one color. If it doesn't work in one color, it's going to be expensive to reproduce, and won't be reproducible in all situations (e.g., embroidery, engraving, screen printing, etc.).
