Discussion

Client
I really like the icon/avatar ( #43) that you've created in this logo. However, I think the words "Custom Publishing Solutions" needs to be larger and easier to read. Would you consider making "ICM" as deep as the icon/avatar and flowing the words "Custom Publishing Solutions" under the icon and "ICM"?

Thanks for your effort on this. I really appreciate it. I'm anxious to see your variations on these changes.

Can you turn the icon 180 degrees on #54 so that "v" looks like magazine pages opening or flipping?

On #55 and #56, can tweak the artwork so the arms of the "V" look like magazine pages or an open book?

Thanks.

Muji-

We're down to the final day of the contest and I have you in my top 3. I really like what you've done thus far but I'd like to see you introduce a little more color (green or orange) if possible. I'm also open to any minor tweaking you may want to do with fonts to maximize the readability of the fonts when used in smaller applications like letterhead, etc. I'm also a little uncomfortable with the kerning of the word "Solutions." Any suggestions? I appreciate the AMAZING job you've done in this contest. Final selection will be made tomorrow!

Best regards,

In typography, kerning (less commonly mortising) is the process of adjusting the spacing between characters in a proportional font, usually to achieve a visually pleasing result. Kerning is the adjustment of the space between individual letter forms.

A slight improvement, but I like the color pallette #104 better. I was looking for a small orange or green accent, perhaps a rule?

I like your text treatment in #117, but prefer your color pallette in #104.
