We do not want you to withdraw your entries! The #5 ranking is not an indication that we did not like the design. The simplicity of the design is what is liked. So we prefer the versions without the cityscape on top. Is there another way to incorporate the cityscape with it feeling too cluttered? If not, we say leave it out. We like to boost of color in the play button and the suggestion of going forward away from the filmstrip.
I'm sorry, do you want me to upload the designs without cityscape again? what colors would you prefer for the play button? Play button was my idea to implement something related to film but without filmstrip as you don't like it. The design you ranked #5 has an element related to filmstrip on the left - do you want me to remove it?
Now, do you want me to base on entry #38, where there is no filmstrip and no cityscape and just develop different colors for the play button? or you want me to incorporate the cityscape in another way?
I must have accidentally deleted entries 84 and 92. Please resend. No need to show color variations for play button. However, for #6 above delete the cityscape and change nothing else.
No, You haven't delete my entries 84 and 92 accidentally. I'm a probationary designer at the moment and every submitted design has to be accepted first. They accept design probably once a day, so we just have to wait few hours I suppose before you can see them.
Our team really loved your design. If there could have been a way to choose two winners, we would have added another prize. While management preferred not using a filmstrip in the logo, your playful use of it was found to be subtle and quite acceptable. The "play" button is highly effective in communicating our transition to digital. We want to find a way to use your design for other purposes. However, I am uncertain as to the protocol here.
