My first entry:

1) "When you understand human nature, you unleash the creative and productive potential of your workforce"
- The graphic can be seen as many different symbols: Lotus, shell with a pearl ... a human eye in the center (symbol of knowledge, understanding)

2) Something that speaks to the *end result* of understanding human nature
- The "end result" - The glorious pearl in the center of the lotus/shell ...the 2 concentric curved pentagrams symbolize the road which leads to the precious "end result".

The curved circles/pentagrams can be also seen as flower petals or concentric water waves either of them carrying its strong symbolism.

Thanks Ivan,

I love the mysteriousness of it as well as how understated and classy it is.

I'd like to see what it looks like with both the green and blue colors I put in my brief, and the green and blue from entry #16. I'm working on how bright/vibrant vs. subtle/understated I want the look to be. I want people to feel uplifted by it and curious, but not come across as overly perky and playful.

Also, can you offer up something else that maybe speaks more to "this is what happens when you understand human nature" that I listed in the brief?

While I love the aesthetic look of the logo part, I'm not getting the human nature piece. I'll run it by some colleagues as maybe I'm missing something.

But again, LOVE the classy look.

Thanks,
David

Hi Ivan,

I just got off the phone with a colleague who was really impressed by #74. She suggested brighter versions of the blue and green, which I think is where we're going.

When you get your updates, could you put in one with the logo off to the left of the name and also make the name slightly smaller font. I'm thinking of when I use it for my business card, wanting to get the size/dimension so it would work in that venue, plus my new website.

Thanks so much and really like the refinement of your work!

Hi Ivan,

Very cool offerings! Thank you. Can you try this green RGB 79 64 26. I'm wondering how that will look compared to the current one. I really like and appreciate the variations you gave re: the very light to reg saturation.

I'm looking forward to getting feedback from my friends/colleagues.

Best regards,
David

Wow you're cranking them out! I'm going to wait until I get some feedback before I rank the new crop you just sent. So if you see they haven't been processed, that's why.

Hey, when you show me the new green, could you match it with the blue you have for #74. I think I might like that better. It looks very rich. Love the clean font, too. Thanks.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Thank you for appreciating my designs! :)
The corrected new green are #96 and #97
Are you sure it wasn't RGB 64 79 26 ? Because the other way around (79 64 26) I get a brown color?

I'll be taking my leave for today because it's almost past midnight around here in Bulgaria.

Best Regards,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the clarification. I did memorize it wrong. This time I wrote it down. I adjusted it to a cooler/bluer green

17 58 26

Also, if you could put #74 against a background of a triangle that fits with the cool dimensionality you did, I'd like to see how that would look.

Thanks so much and "talk" to you tomorrow,

David

HI Ivan,

From the feedback I've gotten, here's the gist of it: extremely classy and elegant, but doesn't communicate work.

Would you be willing to try something of similar classiness but with some movement or collaboration like guys around the globe?

Thanks,
David

Hi Ivan,

Could you maybe shift gears and try a couple of word mark designs? I'm wondering if that might make it easier to communicate the message in my updated brief.

Thanks so much,
David

David,

I'm sorry but I cannot use a design based on guys around globe because that is @mare.ingenii's concept and according to the rules of the site "only the first designer to present an idea/concept in a given contest has the right to use it and develop it furthermore".
I'll start working on word mark designs and will submit as soon as I'm ready.

Ivan

Hi Ivan,

Just got off the phone with my former ad exec friend who suggested I provide designers with a tag line I would use with the logo. Here are two working titles:

“Helping Leaders Unlock the Mystery of Employee Motivation”

“Helping Leaders Inspire the Best in People”

Thanks!
David
