The right side of the letter H extend upward and downward to represent the connections your company makes between employers and employees. It also divides the background box into the letters C and I.

Comment on entry #1. I like your concept, embedding the H in the C and I and extending the right side of the H to signify a connection is clever. I would like a color differentiation or more framing to offset the H from the background, making it more prominent. Possibly also arrows or some other symbol at the top and bottom of the right side of the H to signify the connect even more.

This one is much better (entry #19). Could you change the color to a grey/maroon where the "H" is maroon and the "C" "I" is grey? If you have other color schemes that you feel would work well based on my contest brief feel free to put those together as well. Overall I like your style so if you have other variations, ideas, designs, etc. for HCI please post them.

Here's the burgundy/gray combination you requested. Please let me know if you would like the colors adjusted lighter/darker.

I do think the darker H with a lighter background works better. People will see the H first and then the C and I pop out. Kind of like when people see the arrow in the FedEx logo. :-)
