Like this much better. Can you incorporate some add'l color of brightness like melon/orange/yellow maybe using a sun for the dot on the i or a sunset in the back? Loved the orange lining on the first around the california font - can I see that back on the word california? Tho I didn't care for the base of the first design, I miss the colors you had on it - We are showing our interior designer this tomorrow, so it would be nice to have several options to show him. OK - almost there. Took it to the decorators today. The colors of the outside of the building will be painted three hues of the back of the logo - kind of a clay color and two other levels of that color. The interior will be resort colors of shades of blue/navy, complimented by hues of the clay tones and white/white wash. So, here are a few adjustments to the logo we'd like to see: we all love the font as it's a retro font for the old Hotel Calif. but: take off the grass at the bottom, make the 'California' in navy blue with a clay shadow color and the word hotel in a different color (?). Remove the orange cloud and float the rest of the logo without the back cloud then let's see it with the sun and one without. Thank you!
Met With the decorator today again to review colors of the building paint job - because the building will be in clay tones he said to us to put back the blue cloud in the background. So: Let's go back to the entry #4 using the blue cloud background, use navy font for 'california', and use the teal color and font (from entry #12) for 'hotel'. Take off the spritz of grass at the bottom of the palm tree leaving the solid green patch of grass. Show me then as changed and then show it to me with this additional change: let's try taking the sun off and replace the dot for the 'i' in california with a sun. Our decision will be made in the next 24 hours - I still like yours the best. However, the one in second place jumps at me more tho I like yours better. Can you correct the COLORS of yours to be more like the one in second place along with enlarging the CALIFORNIA a bit, and restaurant & cantina words two bits. We don't want the restaurant and cantina words to be lost. I really like the navy colors second place used. Let's see if you can make these changes. Thank you!
