Tying together the tree and the hand is pretty cool. I'm looking for something much more edgy though and not as clean and corporate. Not sure I like the orange and blue color scheme after all either.

Hi Matadewa. Thanks for your entries. I like the tree in #15 much better than the tree made out of hands in #43. I just posted a general comment to all the designers about maybe incorporating flames into the design. I would love to see flames incorporated into your tree somehow, if that could work? My boss likes this one a lot! Very nice work! But we still feel like it is not grungy enough. Does that make sense? In other words, it still looks too clean and corporate-y. Could you roughen up the layers a bit or add some textured layers to give it more grunge-appeal?
Actually, don't waste your time on that (and I hope you haven't already, sorry...) because the more I look at it the more I think the hands are not going to work. Since we are building hope one community at a time, it might be more fitting to have a little community underneath the flame -- with the flame set as like the sun rising over the community. I would take out the heart altogether, as I don't think it's a fit for us.
I really like #105, but I'm not crazy about the hands. Can you just make the O into a fire ball, and remove the lines beside uprising & make it the same width as hope, and tone down the splatter effect around the lettering? Thanks so much Adhi!
