We like the atom emblem a lot. Nice idea. Here are a few comments in no particular order: One person on our staff thought this looked "radioactive", which is not in alignment with us and our goal of creating healthy homes... but the rest of us looked at it and thought "science" which is exactly the kind of reaction we want to achieve. Can you think of ways to refine the emblem to nudge people in the science direction and away from the radioactive direction? Is there a way to make the house part of the emblem a little more pronounced? We'd also like to see what this would look like with a different, more "dictionary-like" font, and possibly a lowercase "h". We prefer a dot instead of a dash. Keep the good ideas coming! :)
Hello, I've managed to make little more room for home symbol to make it clearer, changed font and added some colors variations. As for the atom trails it was first thing I thought about science, and for me it's pure science symbol. You can type "science" in google in (images) bar. This symbol is almost on every image, and I don't really know how to make it less radioactive: http://www.publicdomainpictures.net/pictures/10000/velka/1-12121495914tsn.jpg
Maybe wil try to introduce some other concepts like: laboratory, test-tubes, measurement tools.
Thanks for these revisions -- they are great! The larger house looks good, and we appreciate you showing us different color combinations. Could you take a look at #38 and note the different font choice for the tagline (the three words below Home-ology). The tagline seems easier to read on that one. Or maybe the text is just larger. We'd be interested to see any tweaks you can think of to make the tagline a little more legible. Great work, thank you!
We appreciate all the wonderful iterations of this cool idea you've given us. The graphic has a lot of "punch" and is a great accomplishment from the visual design perspective. That being said, we don't think we can use it because of the way it uses the very iconic atom symbol, which is evoking ideas like "nuclear" and "radiation" and "half life decay" and "bomb" for many of the people we show it to. We've kept you in our top 5 because we like your work and want to give you an opportunity to submit another concept. Thanks again for all the great work.
