Here is my first try :) with your guide i can improve the designs, so feedback and comments are so much welcome!

Im thinking in a landscape way to show the logo, thats why maybe the logos look little in the space, but in the website will have more space.

Also, we can combine fonts if you like one entry but with another font, just let me know.

Great start. I like #1 best.

1. Let's change the word magazine to publishing.
2. I have uploaded the eps file that I use for the floral here: http://wellplannedday.com/newhefmsite/webillustration.eps
3. Please use bottom silhouette, not top.
4. Can I see the silhouette in black?

Another thought: Because the new website I'm working on has so many swirls, could you design a logo without swirls or silhouette? A logo that is about home, family, and education?
