Entry #67 and 68: I love both of these designs! Thank you for joining the competition. I may ask for a few minor color changes soon but. right now, I don't need to see any changes. I'm trying to figure out if the idea of a license plate design (that's what I see, anyway) makes sense when associated with the HIRED! course. I think it does, but I'm going to ask for feedback from a few key clients. Thank you so much!

Thanks Laural! I can easily change the shape if you want to go with something more rectangular. I didn't want to highlight any part of the word "hired" because I keep seeing either "hi" or "red" and not "hired" so I think that it works well over the entire word. If you do see the license plate you could always play with a theme of "get going to work" or something along those lines. I'm here if you need anything.

#124 and #125 show another concept - targeted job search. Still using the bright colors. Thanks.

Jeff - can you, by any chance, try design #67 w/ more subdued colors? Maybe a bit grey-scaled? I LOVE this design, and it's in the top spot for a reason, but I'm concerned that when folks take the course, and put the logo on their site, that it won't match their background. Thanks!!!

Thanks Laural. I would actually think that the opposite would be true. Most sites are black or white and this definitely pops. I can also give you one like #147 with the black outline so that there is separation between the logo and whatever background color they are using. Let me know what you think. If there are particular sites you are concerned about let me know and I can show you how the logo can work on that color.

Hi Laural. Saw that you reranked. Is there anything I can do for you? I uploaded #195 and #196 as well. Thanks!

Hi Jeff - I know, I did reorder. I'm sorry I didn't let you know. I actually prefer your logo the most, but I have a team of folks working on the launch of this course, and I have to go with majority rule. They like the second logo because it looks like a keyboard (online course, you know). I don't know if you remember, but we worked together before. I have always loved your work! We're still deciding, but it's getting down to the wire. I hope you won't take it personally if you don't win. You know I've always been a fan. :) Laura

No worries Laura. What project did we work on together previously?

I just uploaded some revised designs that make my initial design look more like a key. You also have the added benefit of it being self contained like my original logo which makes it easier to use on different background colors which I know was a concern of yours.

Here if you need anything else.

Thanks!

You did my aspire empower logo, many many years ago before I changed the name of my company to The Career Strategy Group. I finally found my brand!!!

Anyway, I know exactly what you mean about having a self-contained logo. You are still in the running...just lots to think about over the next day! :)
