Please note the following which I posted to everyone: "Hexa is the greek prefix for 6. Hexadeca is the greek prefix for 16. No hexagons (6 sided shapes) please unless they are somehow contributing to sixteen elements."
I do like the use of the connected circles. Can you perhaps work on a variation that includes sixteen elements? A variation on #26 with 8 circles and 8 yellow bits might work.
I would like to see the text to the right of the graphic.
I like #30 but it is now a little bit to cluttered - there are two many pieces. Can you try for 16 as Hexadeca is the Greek prefix for sixteen. I prefer the circle of #30 to the hexagon of #28.
Was your thinking with #28 that 7 coloured pieces, three circles and six sides of the overall shape made 16? If so, don't count the edges and increase the number of pieces and circles please.
#48 is looking good. The resulting shapes are slightly odd from a network point of view (what my business is about). I'm about to head to bed, I'll have another look tomorrow and try to explain. I think moving some of the lines and circles is all that is required to address the oddity.
Thanks for the further submissions Makinson. I like #59.
I think I would prefer to see 16 shapes rather than 10 triangles and six circles.
Could you please try the following? - pull the white circles away from the edge of the big circle - that will add another three triangles around the edge - draw another line joining the two white circles that are not connected - that will add another three triangles.
That will give us sixteen shapes.
Can you try two variations: - one with the six circles spaced evenly like you have now - one with the six circles slightly irregularly spaced so we end up with different sized shapes.
