I really like your style. I appreciate the more modern/sharp/clean look. Focus shouldn't be on the H for Help, if anything, HDC or HDCav. But, the focus can stay on the Design with the Shield and/or the Bugle. Also, Cavalry should be the same size text as Help Desk is, not smaller. Thanks, Steve
We're curious to know what the center graphic represents on Entry #10? The bugles are easily recognizable, but we can't figure the geometric shape. Our logo needs to have explainable elements throughout (we use them as conversation points), so it's important we can talk about it.
Entries #25 and #27 are similar and having the graphic adjustable around the text to suit our marketing needs is important to us. What we're wondering now is if we can see some color options. Almost all of our responses are blue, silver, black, and white. While these all relay technology and dependability, we'd like to see what color can do for the logo since it's the foundation of our branding. We have one submission that used an off-red with a muted blue. It stood out and jumped off the page. Maybe you can throw us some examples that do the same thing? We're open to anything in terms of color...
The Entry #10 is a shield but in an abstract and interesting way, this was to not use the common shield shape, something a little more modern. That's why i used #10 as the modern / abstract shield, and the #25 as the conventional shield.
And at the same time you can see at first sight as "two strong arms" in an abstract way representing to the:
- Small businesses & - Medium businesses
It is a symbol representing protection and strength but not in a "literal way" but instead in an abstract and subtle way.
You know, it is important to have a logo that can be super easy to remember and with something "eye-catchy", i really love the style of #10 because it's really unique. And because you are with the idea of the "cavalry" theme, well.. i wanted to make 2 different styles (as i said) the modern / abstract logo and the conventional shield.
And about the colors i will show you some variations.
Please feel free to ask for changes or let me know if you have other doubts.
Still loving your style as well as your explanation of the shield on #10. Can you create an altered version of it where you stretch the bottom portion and shorten the top so that it looks more like a conventional shield shape, but keeps your modern design?
Hi Diana, Can you flip #41 and adjust it to keep the bottom solid with the thinner top like #39? (Or fill in #39 so that the center is square) Thank you!
One more thing. We're really starting to like #94, but we're not partial to all the negative space between the top of the shield and the body. Can you decrease it? Lower the top to be a bit closer to the body, etc...?
So, we've had a few developments...though yours is still at the top of the list, we've had a submission that takes the project in a directions we like. Its #117. Not sure if you can see it, but if not, its a graphic on top of text (similar format to yours) and the imagery is around a laptop with a user reaching out to it. The user is symbolized with a simple swoop for a body and arms outstretched with a circle for a head. We like the incorporation of technology. Can you play with this in your style and see what comes of it before our deadline tomorrow? We realize this is last minute, but its a game changer and we want you included since your style is the most preferred. Really appreciate you working more on the project. Thanks
Sure, i can incorporate some technology to the design.
About the deadline dont worry, in judging time we can still submit new entries, but just remember that only 1st ranked designer is able to submit, so when you wanna work with me you can swich me to 1st place so i can be able to upload, and then you can change me to a different place as you prefer. I will work with the new design tomorrow and when you have the time you can swich me and i will be able to upload the files.
Thank you for explaining the rules to us. Personally, I had selected your logo, but our clients understood the other design better. So, I look forward to seeing your spin on it. Thanks again!
Sure, no problem! I'm working on your logo right now. I will upload new entries soon, i hope you can change me to 1st place so i can be able to submit.
Thanks Diana, Although the concept of #117 is what we are looking for, the creator is not working with us. So, we are down to two finalists and need to switch between you two. Just let us know when you are ready and we will make the change to put you in first for submittal.
Hi Diana, we're really leaning toward #136 with a few adjustments. I'm going to throw a few things at you and we'd like to see variations on all of them, if you don't mind. Our biggest concern is the translation of the small lines when the logo is reduced to anything smaller than a half inch square. What we'd like to see is #136 without the shield outline, leaving only the person framed by the bugles within the monitor. If there is a way to do this without more small lines, that would be ideal (perhaps making the person and the bugle images blue, running into each other?). Since the shield would be gone, the person icon could be larger as well. We would like to see this on the monitor turned as it is here as well as on a monitor that is facing full-front. If you can also submit negatives of these also, that would help, since we are trying still get a feel for the white on black items that we will be creating. The other variation is that we're hoping you can play with the bugle image here...maybe drop to only one bugle and play with its location? We want to stick with the three images--monitor, person, and bugle--and we love your style and placement. In the hopes of simplifying, we're just hoping you can do something with only one bugle. We realize this may throw symmetry off, but it may wind up working for us. Please be assured that we are definitely committed to your designs and these asks are really just to make sure that you are the artist that creates the final logo. We really appreciate your responsiveness through the whole process and we love your work. Thanks!
Hey Diane, Steve here. I really want to award you, but everyone is leaning towards #140 in my polls. They like the shield appearance and the team of people in the monitor. With the information that Jess already provided you with, can you come up with your version of #140? Sorry to be a pain. We have not asked anyone else to make changes or improvements this week. So, I am hoping that you can get the votes from our audience. :-) Good luck and THANK YOU!!!
Hi, i had an idea, i added a desk into the shield and the computer #171 , i think it looks really cool and gives them a different style, not just the computer "floating".
Hi Diane, we are really looking for your version of #140 with three people, a monitor and horns to form a shield. I like the appearance of what you did, but it is too busy for our needs. Bold and simple is key so that it shows well in little print. Sorry to ask you to try again (if you don't mind).
