The idea is pretty good. However it looks like a family. I would change it to three people of same or similar size, and then try to make text bubbles slightly bigger.
Also the concept is more about people and talking (around the world).
#196 Try to take away the people all together. So it's like a pure language tree. You can take away a few bubbles so it's not as crowded (too many little dots & bubbles make some people uncomfortable), like a few big bubbles with a few more around.

Representative alphabets/characters (show them in these orders for those you can add): a, ñ, 中, 가, あ, я, ç, ü, Ψ (you can drop those you can't add due to limited space)
