Hey Paul, I am down to 2 designs. One of them being #59. I was going to go the #76 route but decided I like the home you used in #59 better. That being said . . I need you to try 2 new colors if thats okay. The red color used in the Washington State University logo and the gold used ind the St Louis Rams logo. I gave these 2 colors to the other designer and they used on logo #86. Which is #2 on my ranking right now. Could you give that a shot? Make the line and the ampersand the gold color and the rest the red color. And maybe for grins invert them. thanks, Gregg
During judging the top ranked designer is the only one permitted to make changes. CH's generally shuffle designs around to allow for more than one designer to make changes during this time. I am out until later this afternoon/evening. If you want to place mine at No. 1 temporarily, I will gladly make the changes. You can then re-rank how you see fit.
Also note, that if you prefer my design, I will get the colors right for you even after the contest if need be.
Just let me know where to go from here, and I will gladly do whats needed
#87 | #88 - I actually agree about this being the better of my designs. It fits very nice and symmetrical with the wordmark. In design lingo, we would say it has a nice balance which actually draws the eye to it. Balanced designs work better in signage also.
I'll be stepping out a little longer, but if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to ask.
Oh, by the way. Reversing the colors makes the text pretty hard to read when you back away at a distance. You really want the darker color to be featured in the text for extended readability from distances.
