Could you make the font a more playful font? And change Family to Families and add Lynchburg Humane smaller than the rest of the words? Also maybe another swoop for a person but a bit smaller for maybe a child?

#21 is a take on the already abstract logo you have. I added a simple and abstract swooshy human element on the right side that flows with the rest of the existing logo. In the text I colored "pets" and "family" to correspond to the colors of the animals and human figures. Would be happy to make revisions.
