This one is so cute, really pops out. Would be great for a sign. Can we try it with a more realistic type dog and cat, and maybe paw prints mixed with hearts or in place of hearts. I showed it to my groomer and a 17 year old animal lover for an opinion, and the 17 year old thought the dog and cat looked to much like stuffed animals, so I am taking that into consideration. Could you please enlarge the words Pet Center a bit more. I thought it was so cute at first sight!! Thanks, Robin

HI,
I had hoped you would have sent me back some new versions of this logo. I am still trying to pick a winner. The colors and lettering I like a lot, it pops out.
I would like to see Pet Center enlarged, and some new versions of cat and dog above.
If you did not respond because you are not interested, please let me know.

Hi,
Well the thing is that actually I drew already a new version of dog cat(wich is still in pencil), and yeah this weekend was a bit too long and by the time I came back to logotournament the contest got to it's deadline. But of course I would send it happily.
Only if you could just change the rankings for one day or less, and put me in the first place, it would be great, cause only the first ranked can send their designs during the judging period. If you're not gonna like it, you can change the rankings back as they were, so you don't have to choose me. You just give me the chance to upload the new version, and the same can be done with all the other designers.
Now this very moment I'm writing the letter, it's 3 A.M. (UK) but in the next max. 10 hours it's gonna be uploaded, if I'll get the chance.
However thank you for your interest and sorry for the dealy, I didn't planned it like this but....
Kind regards,
Ron

I really like all the new logos. Thank you, now I really am having a hard time picking one. The logo will be put on my signs, a white background (since it is on a brick building). The off white background is nice, so I think that will work well also. I like design #101. Your paws in the lettering is really nice, but I think that the ease of reading the name from a car driving by is better with the block lettering like in entry 100. But since this is such a nice logo, let's try putting the paws in the block lettering. Can you put the blue platform under the dog and cat in #101, like in entry #26, and a red heart in the center on top?
The dog and cat need to be darkened up a bit more, like in entry #99, the outline looks thicker.
Also, Pet Center has to be put under Healthy Paws in almost the same size lettering, bold so people see it.
Entry #99 and #100 are really nice, they pop out. Great job.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. Here I send the new variations. I've made couple of them without the heart in the center, cause maybe some would see it that they are in love. But I used it at 'pet center in my last entry. Looking forward for your opinion.

Ron

Yes, you are right. The heart does not look good in the center. I thought it would make it pop, and it does, but looks better without. I am not sure if I really like the platform under the dog and cat. Let's try entry # 105
without the platform, Pet Center enlarged under Healthy Paws with a paw in between the 2 words. Can you also change Paws to the dark blue color, no lighter blue. Try pet center in the lighter blue or red maybe.
Let's see how these look. Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for the feed back. Well I thought to leave yet that blue platform under, but to adjust it's size. However here I send couple of variations, so it can be decided wich one could work better.

Hi,
Well yes here I removed the platform, and I left the heart cause I thought there might be too many paws, and it's a sign for health as well. But I send both variations.

Like the new variations, but since my sign will be off white, I wonder if the dog and cat will get lost on the sign.
Can we try this: entry 101, keep dog and cat and paws, but use lettering from 111. Pet Center needs to be larger and darker.
Then can we try 101, same cat and dog, with lettering from 104. Enlarge pet center words, and keep in red, and maybe one more variation in blue with the red heart in the center.
Thank you.

Thank you, I like the new variations. Could you please enlarge the words pet center even more in entry #115.
Also, could I see the logo without the shaded background. I will be used in a multitude of applications, and the shaded background may not always be possible. Thank you

Yes, like the new cat and dog much better. I have been getting opinions from people, and a suggestion was made to bring more color into the dog and cat to make it pop more. Can we try some colors? Can I see the logo on a plain white background. The signs will be a white background, since I was told it is to had to get the shading on the signs.
Can you enlarge pet center even more please.
Thank you.

Hi Ron,
Having a hard time trying to decide which log I like. I was hoping one of the designers would have tried to draw out a puppy and kitten's head on top of the name Healthy Paws with the animals paw coming through the letter e or a in the name. Do you want to try this version? I will put you in first place tommorrow 9/9, or if you don't think it will work out, just leave me a message. Thanks, Robin

I am not sure what time zone you are in, but hopefully we can get your entries in today. My judging is over tonight I believe.

Hi Ron,
Yes, I like the puppy, the cat would be better if it had a kitten face. I am not sure if I like the solid coloring behind Healthy paws. Can you do it without the bar, and just have the paws hanging over a bit over a letter in Healthy paws or even a paw coming through an e or a in Healthy Paws? This is close to what I was looking for. Bold name, cute puppy and kitten faces to soften people's hearts when looked at.

Hi,
Well yes, I was just on my way to send one version without the solid background, but as you can see I had that one with their bodies involved. However it didn't took to much to remove it. Please let me know about your opinion.

Ok, i have tried 2 times to send you a message, and it won't take it. I am trying again.
I like entry#161, with the paws coming through. I don't like the blue cat, can we get a kitten soft face, maybe a blu-grey color, or lets try a siamese color, brown and tan.
I do think the paws need to be a bit smaller, because it makes reading the name harder. Can you also take out the paw prints from the Healthy paws, so it will be clearer and maybe enough with the real paws coming through.
Can you change the color of the paw prints above the logo, maybe a bit deeper in color?
Can you center pet center words like in entry #160, and keep that size.
How do I contact you if my contest ends tonight. I have to choose a winner, and it is between you an loco.
I have never done this before, so can I email you once the contest ends tonight?

Hi Ron,
The cat is better, put it still seems to needs something, not sure what that is. Healthy Paws needs to be more readable, so can you minimize the size of the paws coming through, especially like over the T.
The other paws could be a bit smaller in size.
Entry #160 really pops the name, Healthy paws, and even though I thought I would like it without the color behind it, now I am undecided.Just a few thoughts, have to go wait on a customer. Thanks

Hi,
Here I send new versions. I changed the cat, as it can be seen, and yes I would say the version with the white text it could be better, cause when I do the paws through the font, I have to size the cat&dog to be smaller, in order to be proportional with the paws. In the one with the "billboard" however I can rest their paws on the top of it, and so I don't have to change the size of the cat&dog.
Please let me know your opinion.
Regards,
Ron

Hi Ron,
Thanks for the 2 new versions. The billboard version does make the name stand out more, and the smaller dog and cat are better in the other version. Just can't put my finger on it, the people I have shown it to don't care for the cat's look, so not sure what to tell you.
Lets try the billboard one with no paws prints in Healthy paws, and change out the colors of the cat and dog, I let you choose. The sign will be a white background, so the animals need to pop, I think the dog might get lost on the sign. What do you think?

Hi,
Well in my opinion the last version of the cat it's better then the one on #160 , it's not that agressive.
My favourite it's entry #175 : here I prefer the colours of the dog and cat as well, cause they are more realistic. On the other hand I would use the cat and dog together cause it's looking more friendly. I like as well #171 , the main reason being that the cat&dog are bigger and in proportion with their paws, yet their paws are not hiding the text.
Well these are my thoughts on this, I hope they help a bit to decide.
Kind regards,
Ron

Hi Ron,
Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner, busy day Sunday for me. The new versions are much better, I do like the colors, the blue or orange are cute, not realistic, but they stand out. The grey cat and tan dog seem to blend together to much, even though it is a nice version. I fear they will not pop out on the sign on the building from the road. My goal was for the name to pop first, but the animals will probably catch the eye first on the outside signs. My web site and business cards will be ok no matter what I choose. Thank you for all your hard work on my logos, I do appreciate it. I do need to pick a winner by the 16th, so tues and wed. are all the time I have left to choose. I am going to ask for opinions again. since I haven't had one that has just made me say "yes".
If you have any new ideas for me, I would love to see them. Thank you.

Hi.
Well on these ones I tried my best to meet the desired result (popping out both the text and the cat&dog. But to be onest I start to run out of ideas. However I'm triing to be positive, and hope for the best :)

Ron

Hi Ron,
Thank you for all your hard work on my logos. It was such a hard choice to make because there were these great designs, and I had to pick only one. So I choose the most favored in the vote from my friends and co-workers, because I could not choose one, which was a logo by loco. Sorry you did not win, but I did want you to know that I really did appreciate your hard work. Thank you and kepp up the great work.
