Hi, here is my initial entry for your consideration. I've created a 3d logo from a custom made hatchmark, which I think lends itself well to your business and company name. The grid of a hatchmark is perfect for representing software development, and also ties in the literal image of a map, which is typically displayed with a grid. I'm happy to revise with your feedback. Also, just to note -- you asked for a complex logo, but also said you wanted it to be able to be small next to the company name. I wanted to mention that the more complex and detailed a logo is, the worse it scales down to small sizes. I try to keep my logos less detailed for that reason. Thanks!
Hey Lindsey :) Thanks for your posting. As you can see on the forum, I didn't mean to slide all the way to complex on the form--sorry about that. Simple is OK! I like the hash tag concept but I do think its a little overdone lately with the twitter craze--although I'm still open to it!
I feel that the 3d hash looks a little out of place next to the flat text, and also that the color doesn't look right together--it just seems like that particular hash doesn't look right next to that text. WOuld love to see your variations..
