Discussion

Hi,

Like the flower balanced and completed with all it's petals, a family can be in harmony. But sometimes a petal breaks or distance itself in relation to the whole, for various reasons. It's all about the relation; sometimes it can be trivial, other times more serious. With aid these matters can become balanced and complete, once more.

Please give me feedback on colours and placement; left/right or centred. Remember that you have to guide me in your preference, in order to reach the goal.

Regards
Akerman

I like the symbolism that you are using however I am afraid that it my be to abstract/ subtle for people get the idea. What if the were people - instead of petals (adult and children) going around in the center circle with one slightly removed?

I like the logos with the images to the left. Also, could you put Harriett Buhai above the Center for Family Law.

Hi,

I started out with a design for this contest that you ranked and obviously liked. You also asked me to introduce some changes. Well, I've been following the development of the contest and I would like to introduce a new design idea to you, that doesn't have 'swooshes' 'swirls' or circles.

The concept is as follows:
1. A slight cursive font with good serif that is balanced and slim enough for horizontal or vertical (centred)
use. Less emphasize on 'Harriet Buhai' as requested but still included in the full name. Not hanging
on the outside.
2. Two rings - This is where it all starts - With the bond, the relationship. And that is how you want to portray
your organization - As the marriage between LOVE & LAW.
Since basically all the work you do is with focus on the relationship: Between couples, between parents
and children, between young and old and between the individual and society. How better to illustrate it
than with the core of the Family bond?
3. The 'interconnected' rings also implies a chain. A chain isn't stronger than it's weakest link. A cliché maybe
but oh, so true. Sometimes we fail as family members towards each other and sometimes we fail in society
(third party). When we do, we need help/aid to repair the error or to make the right decision.

I present you with a couple of colour/placement variations but if you have any other preferences please advice me and I'll adapt the design.

Regards & respect
