#225. I like the update very much. The word 'Constructors' needs attention so it is more readable on a business card and on black/white copies. I would like to see the word 'Constructors' changed to a solid burgandy color that would complement the blue. Also change the dark brown part of the right side in the icon to the burgandy color. The left side/tall vertical emement of the icon is not plumb. Is that by design? If so, maybe make the bottom of that vertical element wider toward the right. Thank you.
The more we study #250 the more we like it. Is the anything that can be done to the icon in #263 so it looks less like a high heel? Possibly make the bottom base of the left side of the icon wider. Thank you.
We like the length of logo #263 because it allows for a larger font, which will show up better on business cards, but we like the configuration of #250. See what you can do to blend the two. #250. Another option is to put 'Constructors' below 'Harbor' and make the font size larger. Thank you.
Would like to see two more options for #357: 1). As-is but with font changed to match #290. 2). Change font to match #290 and change gold building to green. Thank you!
#374. We didn't like our idea but we liked the other color options you presented. We are trying to find a way for blue, green and gold to work. Let's try one more thing; Make the rings around the building dark green and insert a dark green horizontal line between the two words. Make the line slightly thicker in the middle and then come to sharp points at the ends. Thank you.
P.S. We promise you we won't ask much more of your time.
Just letting you know we have the short-list out to family, friends and a couple clients for comments. One immediately said they liked the design of #374 best but the colors of #353. Would you mind doing one more rendition? I also think the words need to be slightly larger and the gold color in "Constructors" needs to be a darker shade so it shows up better on b/w copies. Thank you!
#391. Really like the black and gold! Please make the gold color in "Constructors" to match the darkest shade used in the gold tower. It is still barely legible when copied in b/w. Thank you.
#392. Better, but when I print the logo in color to very high quality paper and then make a B&W copy, the word "Constructors", and the left side of the front ring, and the outline of the lower parts of the buildings get washed out. Not sure what to do or if anything needs to be done at all. Maybe this shakes out during the printing phase. Maybe try making "Constructors" solid/dark gold to match the darkest gold shade in the buildings. Thank you. P.S. This will be the last tweak. We will make our selections tomorrow. I really appreaciate all you do.
Maybe that's because it's in 72 dpi .jpg format. When u have 300 dpi .jpg format it will be compatible for ever kind of print. Besides your paper can be quality but also your print settings must be set to quality or maybe u have to check your toner:) (Is this problem just for my work, did u try others works too?)
One more option; please try black and white version directly to print which i've submitted here. Because sometimes some printers can't see yellow and blue colours or sees with low tram when u try to print b/w directly from colour version by choose gray scale.
I can send u the logo in 300 dpi .jpg format to your email adress if u want. My email adress is yavuz_sonmez@hotmail.com
#290. Members of our selection committee like this icon a lot but pass on it because the words are too tiny. Would it be possible to move the word 'Harbor' to the left side of the icon, have the word follow the angle of the left side of the icon and read from bottom to top? If so, then also change the color from blue to black and make 'Constructors' larger and match the font/color used in #392. Thank you!
#404. Please make the letters in 'Harbor' slant to the right like 'Constructors' so they either have the same slant percentage as 'Constructors' or, at a minimum, so the letters are perpendicular to the straight line they reside above. You may have to modify the top line of the logo so it parallels the slanted letters. Please try it also with the the shorter length of the word 'Harbor'. Let me know if this doesn't make sense to you. Again, very cool. Thank you!
Beautiful! I think the cream has risen to the top. I will put it out to the selection committee and my partner, who gets back in town early next week. Thank you for all your time and talent. I can tell that you run a client-focussed business. Have a great weekend!
