Here is an alternate idea to your current options that I came up with: a custom script wordmark in motion like a wave, with waves and a hook included. It is a little simpler than the boat option, allowing for easy reproduction at smaller sizes (I am thinking hats, aprons, etc.). I look forward to hearing what you think.
