Entry 39 - Wow, we love it! When we asked you for an H, L and M design, we didn't imagine something this creative. We originally planned to go with color, but we really like the gray, black, and white.
Thank you for making the corrections that we requested. We really like the addition of the reflection! Nice! Although there will probably be times when we will want/need to use it without the reflection, especially when we use the graphic alone.
Another thought- how would it look to move P.L.L.C. to a line by itself and decrease the size. Then Law & Mediation could be larger. P.L.L.C. has to be part of the logo but it doesn't have to be as prominent as the other parts of the name.
After talking about the design and showing it to some other people, we have decided that we like "Law & Mediation" in all caps (entry 108).
However, we think that 1) "P.L.L.C." should be as tall as "Law & Mediation" but perhaps not as wide 2) The period after the "P" is too far from the "P" and the "C" making "P.L.L.C." look wider, bigger, and more prominent than we like. (I think this called the "kerning"?) ** Our understanding is that these two things can be adjusted in AI easily.
We also noticed that when you added the reflection, you moved the name part of the logo down. We think that we would prefer to have the name part of the logo centered on the graphic as if the reflection was not there. We like how in entry 109 the Hallisey is in the grey & white part of the graphic and the Law & Mediation, P.L.L.C. is in black part of the graphic. (But we do want the "P.L.L.C." on the same line as "Law & Mediation")
Looks fantastic! Thank you for working so well with us and our changes!!
Now -- can we look at some variations of this very same logo -- 1) Black and gold (replace silver/grey with gold) 2) Silver and gold 3) Black Background - with original colors of black, white and grey/silver
Thanks for entry 151-- we think the gold needs to be more gold and the silver more silver. Both need to be brighter and maybe have some depth added to them. The black seems to wash out the logo -- instead we were hoping that the black would make the logo stand out even more.
