So, I think I may have been a little confusing The turkey silhouette is exactly what I was looking for. I like the amount of trees and the design of the trees in the first one. I also like how it looked like the creek was winding. I just thought we needed to make the land look less hilly. Also, I know I said I like the tree in this one, but I think it is too detailed mixed with the other tree design. In closing - keep the turkey - but try to get closer to the trees/creek in the one ranked #1 (without the hills).
This one has some real potential. The land is not as "hilly" in the area of the lodge, so can you make the land portion go from the skinny land area at the top of the logo and follow it down just as you have it, but not back up making the hill? It can carry a little further down, closer to the "Hal's Lake," if necessary. Does this make sense? Also, I have added another upload of an abstract turkey I drew. I'm not an artist or graphic designer, so I hope it is clear enough. Instead of the half circle over the trees, can you put something like this turkey over the entire top? Finally, I like the font of "Hal's Lake" but can you get rid of the shadow and just make it block?
