Here's a logo with the "G and C" worked into the waves.

(This comment references Entry #24)

I really like the play on the GC graphic part of the logo, but would like to see some variations because this particular design does not appeal to me, but I love the idea and concept. Also, I like the fact that "Gulf Coast Imprints" is on one line and all the same color and "& specialties" is on a second line and a different color

Thanks for the feedback, I'll work up some more versions of that concept in the next few days.

And thanks for noticing the type layout in #24. I live in Pensacola and realize there's a good amount of businesses starting with "Gulf Coast", so any chance to differentiate is good, especially for store front signage.

I really like #71. The text is great. Love the layout and spacing of the text. I like the GC with the wave. I can't put my finger on what's keeping it from being "the one" :). Maybe if the GC lines were a little thicker, or the wave connected a little differently. I'm not sure. I really like it, I just wanted to see if you had any more ideas to play off of it. It's close! Thanks!

#71 I was just wondering if there was a way to incorporate the "I" somewhere in the graphic too? Only because we are going to go by "Gulf Coast Imprints" or "GCI" Thanks!

Great timing for the feedback. Working on variations off #71 now, so it's really helpful to hear the specific points. Thanks.

#102 looks great. Can I see a version of this one with the outer layer of the g and wave in the dark blue and use a gray instead of the aqua for the inner c, and specialties. Thanks a bunch!!

#107 Thanks for the quick turnaround. One more thing...Can you make the wave the same dark blue color as the text?
#99 Can you make the graphic a little smaller and a little closer to the text. I like it on the top, just think it needs to be a little more subtle and smaller. Thanks!!!

#114 Really love the design concept. I would like to see a few variations of #114.

First suggestion, make the GC portion of the the logo bigger while keeping the "Gulf Coast Imprints & Specialties" text the same size (center the "& specialties" line with Gulf Coast Imprints line). Then incorporate a Block style line on top and bottom of text to go no higher or lower than top and bottom of the bigger "GC". The top line could be straight on the top and have a slight wave on the bottom (and be as long as Gulf Coast Imprints). The bottom line could be straight on the bottom and have a slight wave on the top side of the line (and be as long as Gulf Coast Imprints).

Second suggestion. we love the GC design, but would like to incorporate an i. Perhaps you could play off the fact that your current GC design looks like the dot of a lower case i. When doing so, this could give you room to do a top and bottom block line llike I previously suggested to give the logo some more substance. I understand that with this suggestion making the GC bigger might not be an option.

Let me know if you have any questions. Hoping this is not asking to much. Thanks.

#114 Just thought of one more design suggestion. It is a play off of my first suggestions. When making GC bigger you could do so in a manner that would allow the wave portion of "GC" to extend out and serve as a bottom line as I suggested earlier. Also on the top you could make the top right of the "G" and the "C" of "GC" to come together to form a block line and serve as the top line. Does this make since? Let me know if you have any questions. I would like to see all three ideas to be able to compare. Each suggestion as an extention of your original concept

It's no problem at all to do these changes. #127 and #128 are from your comments. Let me know if you more feedback on those or would like to see more revisions on those.

#129 Is just another play off of #114, trying to incorporate an "I" into the logo,

Thanks
