Yes that is what i was thinking.

I can always modify in PS or AI.

I think the final thing i need is an emblem version like i had shown you.

slightly shadow is on #67
so, my suggestion is choose the flat color and in the future if you want a metalic looks, you just can add that effect by photoshop. or, i will help you how to do that

Think i much rather prefer these (66 & 65) as opposed to the metallic effect.

Does this have the slight inner shadow?

I usually only notice it when i toggle it on and off so I can't tell.

So i'll be going with this one.

Can you do a few variations of the inner shadows? The inner shadow i'm looking for is around the edges of the text...a very very faint shadow.

Also I would like to see a variation for white / light backgrounds.

the Ridez can be the same color...ignore that i just made the R white and not the 'idez' :)

Also...i do like the checkered flag touch...so whatever you do ...it would be great to keep that idea

I like this direction ... but as mentioned in my overall description.. i would like that the GTR can be separated and used as an emblem...
I have played around with your concept in photoshop a bit ...These are pretty much what i'm looking for:

Also...i'm not sure if you've done this but the resolution isn't large enough for me to see...but if you can put like a veryy slight inner shadow ...so the design isn't completely flat...

hmm...definitely prefer the other font for the 'ridez'...
