Thanks for your entries! I like the overall layout, but the colors are a little off. www.cityblossoms.org uses good colors, as a reference. And the overall shape of the green image is good, but it's a little too vague. Maybe if it were just leaves? Leaves like what are on the www.dcgreens logo? Just a thought. Maybe add some brown. The blue color I don't think works. Thank you!!
I was actually referring to the apple logo on www.dcfarmtoschoolweek.org, not the cafeteria tray. Is there anything you can do similar to the apple but that also conveys school gardens?
We like #23. Just as an experiment, could you try to do something subtle with the right hand white line that's in the apple? Something to convey a growing plant? Maybe a subtle flower at the top? Or turn it into a suggested leaf somehow? I know this is sort of a difficult request, but I like that the cafeteria is represented with the fork and knife, and it would be perfect to be able to represent the gardens as well.
