This design is not quite on target, but hassome interesting potential. I like the simplicity and crispness. What if the circles were discs...and the balls were streaks if light? This might move away from a scientifid appearance...and to a representation of energy and motion. Create the right kind of streaks and perhaps the lines/discs could even be removed.
